Gamertsfelder Mission Centre
a Work & Witness project
Dr. Paul Gamertsfelder started Men in Missions
in 1974. Men in Missions was changed to Work & Witness in
1984, and has been the catalyst for more than 150,000 Nazarenes
having hands-on experiences on mission fields throughout the world.
This building will be named for this very special servant and his
life's work in the field of optometry will be carried on inside its
walls. To God be the glory! Construction was started in early 2008 by Work &
Witness teams from across the country. This 10,000 square foot
clinic & daycare center is being built in Frome, Jamaica.
Dr. Paul's daughter, Adria Schumann, and two others with Wesley United
Methodist Church in Bloomington, Il, were interviewed on WJBC,
"The Voice of Central Illinois". Click on the image

us for small boats from our 20,000 foot vantage point.
A tip of the wing and Montego Bay, Jamaica, came into
view. The water morphed from deep blue to crystal
clear aqua and the sandy beach beckoned. We were
fully awake now, chattering and planning, gawking and
craning to see what the Caribbean looked like. As
we expected, just like a travel brochure...read

Dear Supporters of CVS,
Here are three happy
children, on their way to the Salvation Army School
for Blind and Visually Handicapped in Kingston last
Monday morning. It was the culmination of months
of planning, and made possible by supporters of our
Child Vision Sponsorship program. The two who
are sponsored by Mission of Sight and Professional
Eye Care (CVS) are Brittanya, in the middle, and Romario,
on the right. (The girl in yellow
is from Mandeville and a third year student at SA.)...read
