We understand the impact vision has on the quality of life.

We believe in treating not only the human body but the human spirit.

Service
We are dedicated to helping those who cannot see or struggle with impaired vision to get their life back by restoring their sight. Whether through surgery or simply vision correction, we are focused on improving life by improving vision.
Team
Our team is comprised of full-time dedicated medical practitioners and local support teams as well as many groups of talented volunteers.
Those wishing to complete an internship with us are encouraged to apply.

Dr. Doug and Rhonda McCloy
Mission of Sight Leaders
Continuing The Legacy
Dr. Paul Gamertsfelder started Men in Missions in 1974. Men in Missions was changed to Work & Witness in 1984 and has been the catalyst for more than 150,000 Nazarenes having hands-on experiences on mission fields throughout the world.

Upon meeting and getting to know Dr. Doug McCloy, Dr. Paul found a kindred spirit, and in turn, Dr. Paul inspired Dr. McCloy's passion for service. From 2008 to 2013, Dr. McCloy coordinated the missional construction and the opening of the Gamertsfelder Mission and Eye Surgery Center.

Since the inception of the center, the Mission of Sight teams of volunteer eye care professionals and surgeons have treated tens of thousands of patients, performed thousands of cataract and other eye surgeries, as well as hundreds of laser and glaucoma procedures. A countless number of lives have been changed forever through their efforts.

Together We Can
Make A Difference
Learn how you can get involved with Mission of Sight.
To help others recover their sight and provide developing countries with access to hope requires many hands. We have many successes under our belt, but we need more help, and that's where you come in.
While you can volunteer with us directly, even traveling to provide needy families with materials and education, there's much you can do on your own.
